Green Swirled Surfite spinner with Sterling Silver detail
Out of stock.
This pendant is a first for me, as I have never found such a distinct layering of colour and clear. This type of Surfite results from surplus and waste resin leftover from surfboard 'ding' repairs. The green and water resin looks seems to have real movment as it froths and splashe up into the clear. As the pendant spins freely it adds to this sense of a rolling moving wave.
The Surfite has been carved into the shape reminiscent of a Lifebuoy and set with a chunky Sterling Silver core. The bail allows the pendant to spin freely making it the perfect tactile fidget pendant. The pendant slides easily off the chain and can be either way round depending on which size you like best.
The Lifebuoy design was inspired by my feelings during the Covid-19 lockdown and the need to bring colour and cheer into our lives whilst also recognising that its ok to reach out and ask for help. So ‘Be brave and Make Waves’.
The pendant has a drop of roughly 3 cm from the chain. The Sterling Silver chain is 45cm in length. Postage within in the UK is included free of charge and the items will come packaged in a recycled card gift box and beautiful paper pulp ribbon. Please do reuse the packaging if you can.
If needed use hot soapy water and a soft bristle brush (e.g., Toothbrush) to clean. A soft polishing cloth can also be used. As with all Silver jewellery keep them away from perfume, sunscreen and other solvents. Where possible keep the necklace in the box to help reduce tarnishing and scratching of the resin when not being worn.
