Beach Lover's Necklace

Inspired by the Cornish tales and folklores of Mermaids known in Cornish as- 'Morvoren'. Mermaids are often said to wear beautiful bright jewels.

This necklace features a Starfish and Shell cast into Sterling Silver and a bright wavy patterned piece of Surfite. In between the three charms and two frosted tubes to add contrast to the polished surfaces but to also separate out the charms when they are on the neckline.

The Scallop shell has a bright polished surface, just like the original shell it was cast from. Whilst the Starfish has been designed to be back-to-front, as I love the hidden detail on the underside of a Starfish. The Surfite has been set in a complementary Silver setting with an open back to maximise light through the piece. The Surfite itself features a kaleidoscope of colours most notable the bold splash of pink.

Details: The starfish is 1.8 cm in length but has a drop of 3cm from the chain The Surfite is 1.3 cm across whilst the shell is 1.5cm across at its widest point. The charms are featured on a square diamond cut 45cm chain.

All orders to the UK include free Postage & Packaging. Each piece of jewellery is sent in a recycled cardboard gift box and finished with a beautiful recycled paper pulp ribbon.

Care:

When the necklace needs a clean use hot soapy water and a soft bristle brush (e.g., Toothbrush). A soft polishing cloth can also be used. As with all Silver jewellery keep them away from perfume, sunscreen and other solvents. Where possible keep the necklace in the box to help reduce tarnishing and scratching of the resin when not being worn.
