Beautiful bright purples, pinks and blues sit alongside flashes of white, orange and clear; making these sustainable Surfite earrings a real talking point. Carved from waste resin leftover from custom surfboard Jay. Head to the Story of Surfite to find out more about this amazing material. (model shot for size example only). In a fresh design update these earrings have the freedom to turn and spin just like the spinner pendants, making them highly tacile as well as eye-catching.
I always seem to be drawn back to carving this Lifebuoy shape as it just seems to maximise colour play whilst not being too heavy. These Surfite earrings have been a lovely smooth polished finish. The holes have been reinforced with Sterling Silver tubing and finished with recycled Sterling Silver hook ear wires which have an elegant tear drop silhouette when viewed from the side. The long loop of work hardened silver ear wire helps to keep the earrings firmly in place even when out hiking in the hills or lazing by the sea.
The Lifebuoy design was inspired by my feelings during the Covid-19 lockdown and the need to bring colour and cheer into our lives whilst also recognising that its ok to reach out and ask for help. So ‘Be brave and Make Waves’.
The earrings are roughly 2cm wide and just under 4cm in length from top of the ear wire. Postage within in the UK is included free of charge and the items will come packaged in a recycled card gift box and beautiful paper pulp ribbon.
If needed use hot soapy water and a soft bristle brush (e.g., Toothbrush) to clean. A soft polishing cloth can also be used. As with all Silver jewellery keep them away from perfume, sunscreen and other solvents. Where possible keep the earrings in the box to help reduce tarnishing and scratching of the resin when not being worn.
