The classic Surfite Lifebuoy Spinner pendant features a kaleidoscope of colours swirled together. (Model shot for size purposes only). The pendant can be worn either way round depending on what side you prefer.
This spinner pendant has been hand-carved from surplus resin leftover from surfboard repairs by Jay. Any leftover resin is swirled with drops of colour and left to set in the bottom of the pots; before being broken out and sent down to my studio for carving. The patterns produced are entirely random and unique and cannot be reproduced.
The Surfite has been carved into the shape reminiscent of a Lifebuoy and set with a chunky Sterling Silver core. The bail allows the pendant to spin freely making it the perfect tactile fidget pendant. The pendant slides easily off the chain and can be either way round depending on which size you like best.
The Lifebuoy design was inspired by my feelings during the Covid-19 lockdown and the need to bring colour and cheer into our lives whilst also recognising that its ok to reach out and ask for help. So ‘Be brave and Make Waves’.
The pendant has a drop of roughly 3.3 cm from the chain and is 2.1 cm wide. The Sterling Silver chain is 45cm in length. Postage within in the UK is included free of charge and the items will come packaged in a recycled card gift box and beautiful paper pulp ribbon.
If need use hot soapy water and a soft bristle brush (e.g., Toothbrush) to clean. A soft polishing cloth can also be used. As with all Silver jewellery keep them away from perfume, sunscreen and other solvents. Where possible keep the necklace in the box to help reduce tarnishing and scratching of the resin when not being worn.
