One of my favourite Surfite statement pieces to make. This time featuring layered Surfite Pebbles featuring a full rainbow of colour. Each pebble has been hand-carved into a soft organic shaped pebble. They have then been riveted onto Sterling Silver rods of varying lengths. Each piece of Surfite has been hand carved into a natural organic shape, to mimic pebbles you might find on the beach. Mixed between the Surfite pebbles are two Sterling Silver paddles. The two paddles have pierced detail on the top of them to draw the eye to the detail of the necklace. The holes have tiny flashes of 24ct Gold pooled into them to add and extra flash of detail.
This Paddle and Pebble cluster necklace is designed to move with the wearer. The soft chinking sounds they create will remind you of the wind rushing through the sailboat masts as the boats bob in the bay. I try to create jewellery that is more than just visual, but tactile and auditory too. It is when the sense combine that you can evoke happy memories of beach days and this is something I aim to do through my pieces.
The necklace has been finished with a handmade Sterling Silver S-clasp which looks as pretty sitting at the front as it does the back.
The longest paddle has been laser hallmarked as a sign of quality and a guarantee that the necklace is made from Sterling Silver.
The charms are featured on a diamond cut mirror box chain which is 45cm length. The longest charm is 5cm in length and the shortest is 2.5cm.
All orders to the UK include free Postage & Packaging. Each piece of jewellery is sent in a recycled cardboard gift box with a little flyer explaining the materials used.
When the pendant needs a clean use hot soapy water and a soft bristle brush (e.g., Toothbrush). A soft polishing cloth can also be used. As with all Silver jewellery keep them away from perfume, sunscreen and other solvents. Where possible keep the necklace in the box to help reduce tarnishing and scratching of the resin when not being worn.
